Student Workbook - Competency Labs #1

This text provides 6 labs that provide a progression through the fundamental skills needed in a woodshop.  Each lab provides flexible options for materials and fabrication tools/steps so that you can meet your own students and shop needs.

The lab progressions is:

1. Measurement
2. Design (hand drafting)
3. Drill/Driver (screws and holes in lumber)
4. Hand Plane & Thickness Planer
5. Panel Glue Up & Sanding
6. Joinery

Each lab has introductory text pulled from our textbook which provides students with background information and encourages reading/annotation skills

Further, the labs include instructor notes/guides for classroom use ideas and implementation.  These notes include materials needed, modifications and extensions for advanced students.
